Danny The Dog Will Be Released By Rogue Pictures As Unleashed in 2005

danny.jpgDanny the Dog, the impressive looking Jet Li / Bob Hoskins / Morgan Freeman flick starring Li as an imprisoned and emotionally stunted pit fighter will get a North American release, most likely sometime in 2005, through Rogue Pictures under the far superior title of Unleashed. Rogue is the genre division of Focus Features, which means the flick will have the marketing muscle of Universal behind it. Will Jet finally have himself a decent film with decent promotion now that he's gotten away from Dimension? I certainly hope so ... You can check out a trailer in AVI format here.

I think the film title that was picked, fits the movie and character's description very well and will turn out to be a smash hit. Congrats to Jet Li!! :)

ummm its a French film, but has a Japanese feel to it, nevertheless, Li is not going to get any drama roles by acting like a stunted character, saw the previews, its bad enough having a role where you have to act like an idiot, but playing that well is even harder and li fails to do that... so sad so sad. stick to kung-fu fighting films jet, or hip-hop urban type
