Marlon Brando dies at 80

12m.jpgComing Soon.net reports actor Marlon Brando has passed away at age 80. The death occurred at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital Thursday, attorney David J. Seeley said Friday. The cause of death was being withheld, Seeley said, noting the actor "was a very private man."jor-el.gif

Brando revolutionized American acting with his Method performances in A Streetcar Named Desire and On the Waterfront and went on to create the iconic character of Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather

Of course despite his legendary performances, I will always remember his short part in Superman as Jor-El.

I shall forever remember him for his role in The Island of Dr. Moreau. Goodbye Dr. Moreau :(

Superman (or should they be super-man!?) had such an amazing cast. RIP Marlon, one of the last greats. A true "actor" who inspired the likes of Pacino, DeNiro and Hoffman to become the actors they are today. The Godfather is a true Iconic film with Brandos role being one that will always be remembered. How many of us have put cotton wool in our mouths and muttered those lines.
