Fangoria Talkes to Juon Director Takashi Shimizu

Well, I've been speculating that there's one good film left in the Juon franchise - they still need to explain what exactly happened to Toshio - and it looks as though director Takashi Shimizu agrees with me. In a brief conversation with Fangoria Shimizu says that he sees Juon as a trilogy and is currently at work writing the third installment. Read the article here.

A trilogy? and the 2 direct to video Juon films (Ju-on: The Curse and Ju-on 2) don't count for him?

I heard him told that to understand the whole thing you must see the 5 films (including the USA remake).

I think that the Grudge was an excellent film. His writing and directing are awesome. I wish that he would bring more of his movies to the U.S. Don't change them to fit our culture, keep them the same, just in english so I can understand. Never has any director made me more interested in learning a new culture or wanting more of a certain culture's movies to enjoy!
