Napoleon Dynamite Squeaks in at Number 29. Friggin Sweet.
Okay, yeah.. 29 - not a pretty impressive number if you're looking in so far as "the top three" go, but much more impressive if you're counting how many 12 ounce steaks you can eat in one sitting. ..what?.. I think my point was "It's all about perspective". But my analogy sucked. Anyhow...
This past weekend, while the huge top 5 Blockbuster movies were being blared from 16,000 of the largest screens on the planet, raking in more money per hour than I'll ever be worth in my life, and taking in an average of 7,500 dollars per screen, Napoleon Dynamite quietly slipped onto only 6 screens nation wide. SIX. That's it. However - here's the magic kids: Mr. Nap managed to pull in $116,666 dollars... or an average of 19,444 dollars PER SCREEN. -- That's nearly triple the attendance of the big boys. Not too bad for a guy that would only last about 3 or 4 minutes in prison.
Kinda like me.

wow this movie was flippin' awesome, HECK YES! i would pay to see this movie 50 or more times. It was so hilarious i'm just sorry it took me so long to go see it. Napoleon is the hottest dork ever- i was laughin throughout the whole movie. If you haven't yet, you have to see this movie.

this movie is one of my all time favorites!although it wasnt a huge favorite among MOST people, i absolutely love NaPoLeOn! it is friggin awesome. I want to be this kid's best friend!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! VOTE FOR PEDRO---cause he has a mustache!!

this is the best movie EVER!! What i really want to now is how did they come up with the "tots" in the pocket? I think his run is the funniest thing ever! Napoleon is hilarious, but to add to the fun, pedro, the girl(i forgot her name), uncle rico, and of course the 2 soul mates (the brother and la fawnda) r laugh out loud funny.

OMG-napoleon is the best frippin movie ever!!! i Flippin LOVE IT. I'm having a napoleon party- december 21st(bcuz thats when its coming out on dvd0 and i can't wait! ligers r basically my favorite animal. and i do have a lot a skills to. drawings one of the better ones! so yea flippin love napoleon!!!

wow this movie was "sweet!" me and my dorky friends quote lines like every other word in our flippin sentences. we know the movie bak and front and the other day some kid actually put tots in his pocket and took them out at lunch lol it was crazy funny but enough about us...napoleon was def the best movie i've seen and in our school we get to do singing telegrams...long story short we're singning the song after the credits that kip does for kids around the school cuz ppl get to send a "singing telegram with a message attatched so we'll dance around the person and sing kip's song to them..we might also do napoleons dance...well just the begginning part but still it will be sick..."whyyyyy do u love meeee, whyyyy do u need meeee, always and foreverrr....i love technologyyyy, but nottt as much as u, u seeeeee, but i still love technologyyyy, alwaysss and foreverrrr"

Just saw this today. What a funny funny funny movie. I howled all the way through. And generally pretty clean too. Proving once again that comedy doesn't have to include knobs and wankle rotary engines to make it funny.
And it quite possibly has one of the single greatest pick-up lines EVER! And I can't remember the exact words for the life of me. Something along the lines of, 'I caught you a tasty bass'. It's brilliant. It's got this sort of Wes Anderson feel to it sometimes. More in line with Bottle Rocket than the others. But if it's playing near you, you gotta see it. Gold!!!
