Thanks to BranDeen for pointing this one out ... I'm not convinced that photo-realism is necessarily the best way to go with CGI animation, but the folks behind Final Fantasy certainly make a good case for it. Whatever the flaws of The Spirits Within the visuals certainly weren't one of them. Well, Final Fantasy is hitting screens again, this time as a straight to video release due in the summer. Final Fantasy: Advent Children is meant as a sequel to the Final Fantasy VII video game which certainly doesn't inspire a lot of hope as far as storyline, but what they've got up in the trailer certainly looks impressive enough ...
