THE DINNER:

Oren Moverman does a heck of a job screenwriting and directing the movie version of the Herman Koch’s novel. A great cast that includes the likes of Rebecca Hall, Richard Gere, Laura Linney and Steve Coogan bring the movie to life with their dynamically charged performances. The film is about two set of parents who come together during a fancy dinner to decide the fate of their children who committed a crime. This is a really intriguing psychological thriller that will have you questioning how far would you go for your children in a dire situation that challenges your morality. A lot of the action takes place around the dinner table, but those are some of the most intense moments in the film. I definitely recommend you check out this film as it offers plenty of intrigue along with some really good performances by some talented actors.
