Downton Abbey fans rejoice, Doctor Thorne is coming to DVD on October 18 (Digital HD a day earlier). For those not familiar, Doctor Thorne is a Amazon series from the creator of Downton Abbey. It’s fairly similar in concept. For movie lovers, it’s also in the same mold as the recent movie Love & Friendship. The show has a quite impressive cast, including American actress Alison Brie.
