Spotlight Official Trailer

— Posted by Mo Baptiste

Guys, guys, guys … did you see this? Let me tell you what I saw. I saw a lot of priests, bishops, and cardinals taking an early vacation. I almost forgot how big of a story this was. Excluding documentaries, this is the first movie I have seen that has directly addressed the scandal within the Roman Catholic Church and those victimized. So, what does this mean for Spotlight? With a prodigious cast, a heart-wrenching true story telling of opportunistic monsters abusing their power while ruining people lives, plus Tom McCarthy directing (who has only had one bad movie, in my opinion) equals a successful film. This film is going to be a bigger critical hit than the Da Vinci code. For all you Bible lovers out there, pray a little harder when the movie officially drops in November. I cannot wait to watch this one.
