Indie Film The Lonely Whale looks promising

It’s always interesting to find what indie projects are currently in the works. Today I came across a film titled The Lonely Whale; a film about a 20 something year old girl in the city searching for her purpose. While the synopsis and trailer are concise, the overall meaning of the film may resonate with many individuals of this generation.
Many may see this film as a coming of age film with some quirky undertones that loosely resemble a Wes Anderson style of storytelling. This kind of formula seems to work exceptionally well with indie audiences which provides a lot of potential for The Lonely Whale.
In addition to its undertones, the film also headlines Actress Sarah Sutherland. You may know her from her continual role as Catherine Meyer on the hit HBO series VEEP. While she is still early in her career, indie films like this tend to show the range of this types of newcomers and have the potential to springboard them into more prominent careers.
