Feast your eyes on this new Age of Ultron poster

Age-of-Ultron-Poster

Joss Wheson’s “Marvel’s: Avengers: Age of Ultron” has unleashed a new theatrical poster to whet your while we await the release of the film. The expected result is that we would see this image, which is thematically similar to the first films promotional campaign, and urinate a little in excitement. I look at this poster and can’t help but try to get a sense of what themes are echoed from what we’ve seen thus far. One thing that stands out to me is that the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver still aren’t central figures. It’s a smart marketing move to lean on what’s been a success in the past but I can’t help but wonder if there’s other motives behind the decision. For one we clearly see that the two are fighting alongside the Avengers versus the Ultron threat indicating that at some point we’ll see them aligned with Earth’s Mightiest. Another interesting tidbit is that Nick Fury is front and center which may seem like a given but it’s interesting nonetheless after the developments in Captain America 2 with the dismantling of S.H.I.E.L.D. I am a little behind in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so I’ll hold out judgment for a bit.

Oh, and the Vision’s in the poster too. Never cared too much for the character to get too excited. That’s all for now!
