The Good Dinosaur is mesmerizing. The mix of photo realistically vivid backdrops with their contrasting cartoony style for the dinosaurs themselves dares you not to blink. I skipped the first trailer, which is also quite beautiful, but decided to bite the bullet with this one and I am not at all disappointed.
absolutely stunning. I have the utmost faith in Pixar, even if they are ripping off other animated films to mash together a plot. I see The Jungle Book, The Land Before Time, and Finding Nemo inspirations all throughout this movie and hope there’s some cool homages to those films that TGD is liberally inspired from. Can’t wait to see more.
