Cinema has come a long way since inception. In the 1920s people would pay to view a film which presented character dialogue only in visual form through reeled captions. Today we have lifelike, digitally-enhanced visuals and sound that makes it difficult to distinguish between film and reality. When reflecting upon the advancements we’ve made in film over the past century, it’s quite an eye opener.
