The Secret Life of Walter Mitty: Trailer

— Posted by Andrea Lestrange

Directed by: Ben Stiller
Written by: James Conrad
Starring: Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, Kathryn Hahn, Sean Penn

Walter Mitty, once played by Danny Kaye in 1947 is now being played by Ben Stiller, who also directs the movie. The trailer is pretty fun, with epic music that makes you yearn for adventure blaring over Mitty’s action packed imagination. For anyone who likes to daydream, wish they were getting more out of life, or simply loves and thrives off adventure, this, I believe will be a throughly enjoyable film. It will be great to see Stiller play a character different to his uptight, paranoid, resident funny-guy roles.

Ben Stiller directs and stars in THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, James Thurber’s classic story of a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker (Kristen Wiig) are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.

I love to write about different types of film - from blockbusters, to indies, and documentaries. I enjoy exploring and discussing different themes and angles, with a light-hearted edge to keep things fun. I am based in London, and currently looking to pursue a career in the film industry.
