Wow. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter CAN be Historically accurate

— Posted by Anthony

Last time we saw Abraham Lincoln in Timur Berehkov’s upcoming film our famed president was doing all sorts of violent things to the undead that provided plenty of gore and blood. Interesting and fun stuff. But then there’s another side of our president being portrayed in this film. A side that you might actually find referenced in that history book that you claimed you read. Check out the new trailer below and prepare to be inspired.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest president, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the bloody lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.

I am most certainly looking forward to this film. I want to see one of my favorite presidents beat down vampires. I do like the commitment to historical accuracy, just adding a fictional aspect to Lincoln's life. This is Tim Burton's chance to redeem himself for Alice in Wonderland and Dark Shadows. This trailer looks awesome as opposed to the trailer for Dark Shadows which raised all sorts of red flags.

ScottHarrigan Tim Burton??? Tim Burton has nothing to do with this Movie. It's Timur Bekmambetov the director of Wanted, Night Watch and Day Watch. This movie clearly is not a Tim Burton Style.

anone25 that meaning that has little to none to do with the actual movie! Is like spielberg being producer in the Transformers. The movie had Michael Bay all over it spielberg was just the ride for the film as Burton is for this one
