Will Yavin 4 have a place in Star Wars VII?

A recent post from Reuters has the rumor mill running and the fanboys chatting. The post primarily surrounds the Mayan calendar but mentions the Mayan temple grounds and their use in the previous ‘Star Wars’ films as the background for Yavin 4. The section of the the article that is of particular interest is where they mention Yavin 4 being a setting in the next ‘Star Wars’ film.

Yavin 4 and the rebel base return to the Star Wars plot in the forthcoming Episode VII, announced in October by the Walt Disney Co, in which Skywalker comes back to the planet to build a Jedi Knight academy. Whether this is true or not, I don’t find it to be of particular interest. It doesn’t tell much about the details of the upcoming film. There are no plot points revealed and the use of Yavin 4 just reveals that they would be using an already established base, which would make sense in any timeline. I’ll get excited when I hear some details that reveal a little bit more.
