The Dark Knight Rises: Bane Unmasked
— Posted by Anthony
Now here’s something you don’t see everyday. I won’t even enter the debate as to whether Tom Hard’s “Bane” is able to hold a candle to Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker. I WON’T TOUCH IT. Instead we’re going to take a neat look at the backstory of Hardy’s character in the film as well as some canned shots of the character with out his face mask apparatus and the effort and detail put into the character even without the device covering most of his face:
Said Lindy, about the scene:

Also very pumped to see the deleted scenes for TDKR! I dig a little deeper into The Joker vs. Bane in my comparison of The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Feel free to check it out, if you guys want!
Great film, really enjoyed it, don't remember that part either, unless its a directors cut version? can't wait for the next one.

my only complaint on this great file was how Bane was just a pawn all for a plot twist, I want to see these scenes
I've only seen the movie once but I don't remember the scene she's describing. Especially the part where she mentions Bane standing on a wooden thing with people are attacking him wearing a ragged version of the mask. I'm really psyched to see the deleted scenes for this film and I WAS disappointed that they never really explained the mask or why he had to wear it. It was one of my biggest complaints about the character of Bane and his lack of development in the film.
The mask was explained. At least to some extent. It was said he needed it to keep away the pain caused by the injuries he got during the prison riot.
