The Daredevil reboot is getting a rewrite

The Daredevil reboot is still under construction and still has David Slade attached to direct the film and now we’re learning that the script is getting the spit polish treatment from a newbie.
20th Century Fox is revving a reboot of Daredevil, and the studio is setting David James Kelly to rewrite of the script, for David Slade to direct…
…reports have the studio working off the Frank Miller/David Mazzucchelli story arc Born Again, as The Kingpin uncovers the superhero’s secret identity, and uses it to turn blind lawyer Matt Murdoch’s life upside down.
The Born Again story would be great to adapt and see in film but I still wonder if a reboot is needed. The first Daredevil movie certainly doesn’t compare with what Marvel Studios has been putting out directly but even in hindsight I still don’t think it was the worst they could’ve done with the flick. Not having bad memories to a comic book flick is a good thing. A damn good thing. Just think of Spawn and you understand what I mean.

The first movie was garbage. Wrong casting all around and poorly written. Kingpin is not a thug (and am no way am I saying so becasue he was black, it's how th3 part was written). He shouldn't have even stood up until the final scene-and LOTR forced perspective would have been a nice touch. Everything about that film was wrong, except for Colin Farrell.
Born Again does have the origin in it but it comes as flashbacks. It's a fantastic story and if they stay true to it, it'll make it one of Marvel's edgiest and grittiest films
