Poster: Silent Hill Revelation

— Posted by The "Superior" Anthony

A new poster for the Silent Hill movie is making the rounds today and features the likes of series poster child ‘Pyramid Head’ as the starring attraction. The next entry in the Silent Hill franchise features Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Malcolm McDowell.

For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, alwaysone step aheadof dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18thbirthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heatherdiscoversshe’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I haven’t seen the previous movie. Sorry to disappoint. I have played a couple of the games for a bit and I do know that they’re comparable to the Resident Evil series but I will say that the movies seem to be in complete shadow of that franchise. Yes, Pyramid Head looks kinda cool and the imagery in this poster is creepy as hell with the hands coming out of the cells. Even reminds me of some cool creepy comic imagery. No, the reason this series and its posters are 2nd string is due to one huge omission: Jovothighs.

Michael J. Bassett, you need to work on that.
