New Avengers TV spot reveals Loki’s Army

This new TV spot for the Avengers has let loose the secret and finally given us a good look at the army that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki will employ for his diabolical endeavors. Don’t waste time reading, take a look at the trailer and tell me what f’n race of aliens this is!!

You know what? I don’t know what the hell those are! And I read a LOT of comics! Anyone else more versed in Marvel lore able to identify these baddies?

    Ok, I stand corrected. No Ice Giant army. However, I’m going to be disappointed if this is just some crazy army Loki conjured up and not an actual Marvel Universe villain race. Call me crazy but I just can’t take Loki serious as an actual big budget villain in this thing. Thor already fought him…why would he need to fight him again? Ho-Hum. Here’s hoping I’m wrong.

      You do know that Loki was the first Avengers villain right? I’m not going to spoil anything but if you’re interested read a wiki on it. The plot is really cool and leads in to a very cool story arch. I don’t know if Whedon is going that route but this could lead into a very interesting story.

    Their faces remind me of Beta Ray Bill, but I really have no idea who they’re supposed to be.
