I’d been curious about the Dark Elves and how they would be represented in the upcoming Thor sequel and now we finally know. They look exactly how I pictured in my head: Like fucking Orcs.

If I remember my Tolkien correctly, please correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t Orc’s Dark Elves? like they used to be elves and died and then got corrupted by the power of Sarumon or something? I thought it was cute when the first Thor movie copied a bit of the Tolkien motif but this is just like throwing Thor into Middle-Earth!… which is eactly what they should be doing! It’s genius! I wonder what Patty Jenkins would have done differently…
