Jeremy Renner has become a very very busy guy since his career got skyrocketed by Katheryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker. Didn’t see this much for him when I first took notice of him in ‘S.W.A.T.‘ opposite Collin Farrell. Anyhoo, we just saw him in the latest Mission Impossible, have seen several set shots of him filming the Avengers, and now we have our first look at his stab at the Bourne franchise.
I dont really like posting shots like this. If I hadn’t looked it up or put it in the title for you guys you wouldn’t be able to discern which flick this was from. How does one generate excitement through this? It’s obviously not easy so instead let’s bring back a familiar game:

2012 will be the year of Jeremy Renner. Two big tentpole flicks - Avengers and Bourne Legacy - will rake in the big bucks. His career will skyrocket for sure.
I still remember when Renner played Jeffrey Dahmer and I thought he was phenomenal! He has been under-rated and hasn’t played a lead in a huge blockbuster yet. However he absolutely can. Good luck to him. He is a physical actor that makes a high pressure situation explode. Hurt Locker is the perfect example. Not much going on but as viewers, we didn’t want it to end.
“Why did I let the costume designer put me in this stupid jacket with this f’d up collar? And why is the set photographer shooting this? They clearly don’t know the first thing about composition! Crap, it’s gonna be a lousy shot and it’s gonna be all over the friggin internet and I’m a whole lot better looking than this. I think I’m gonna puke.”
“I swear to God if someone asks me again if I am Matt Damon’s stunt double, I might just shoot them.”
