Spelling out like a Summer Movie Marathon Wish List, films finally manage to edge out Thor from the Top 5 Spots.

X-Men: First Class - $56,000,000 - Opening
The Hangover Part II - $32,445,000 - 2wks
Kung Fu Panda 2 - $24,300,000 - 2wks
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - $18,010,000 - 3wks
Bridesmaids - $12,128,000 - 4wks

Of course X-Men First Class has an impressive $56million in the top spot ($120m if you count worldwide) which falls short of Thor’s $65m open, but Thor didn’t have this caliber of competition.
