Spider-man Overload

— Posted by The "Superior" Anthony

There was once a time when details surrounding a movie were guarded and carefully coveted secrets that weren’t revealed until opening night at your local movie theater… NOT ANYMORE! Coming Soon has managed to get a TON of images from a, seemingly, small fight scene with the webhead and some average looking thug.

We’ve seen a lot of this movie recently without actually seeing a trailer so I’ll still try to reserve judgment on this movie. I want to like this movie simply because I am a die-hard Spider-Man fan and will be for the rest of my life. I have serious reservations about the costume design and the overall look of Spider-Man utilizing the air brushed muscles, but I hope to be pleasantly resolved by the time I actually get to see this movie on screen. What do you guys think of Spidey’s look? Is it just me?

I just can’t get over that black groin, this costume isn’t a rough draft because I saw the same thing in the trailer. Ad least I am sure I did, it just seems weird to me, this Spiderman costume looks a little too home made, even in the comic books it didn’t look like crap. Also, a little too much blue for me, I am used to more red, the comics have more red and every movie and cartoon so far has had more red, it’s what defines him! Either way, I’m sure I’ll like the movie it’s self better than the others. Andrew Garfield is a way more entertaining Spiderman.

I starting to think that it might be a winner. I was thinking of when I first saw a Spiderman Comic book. The part at the beggining when Peter Parker got stung by the spider and jumped out of the way from the car that almost hit him. You didn’t see that in the other Spider Man hmmm and especially the web mechanics that you know from the comics hmm. I like the acting the Gafield did in the Social Network, so is it posible that the first three Spider man’s will be like Tim Burton’s Batman movies!!!
