Some more Thor posters

— Posted by The "Superior" Anthony

A couple of new posters for the Thor movie popped up online to help further fuel excitement for Marvel’s next film and they seem kinda familiar.

The second one reminds me of the movie poster for the Social Network with a helping splatter of red. Not bad, but not great either but should do the trick for grabbing attention for theater goers. They don’t have to do a single thing more to get me excited, now it’s just the countdown until the release.

Loki comes off a little femme in the trailer, Where’s the evil menacing look from the books?

I’m surprised to Idris Elba displayed on the poster. I didn’t think his role in the film would be that large. I’d expect Tom Hiddleston (Loki) would be more likely on a movie poster.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Where is Loki, and why is Elba there?

I wondered the same thing about Anthony Hopkins as he has an admittedly small part in the movie. Elba’s face is probably just more bankable than Hiddleston’s at the moment, which is probably why they were included, and I wouldn’t read too much into it.

I wonder which will make more, this or Captian America.

I am more excited for this. Throwing a shield doesnt seem too exciting to me.

I think they’ll make around 150-175 million each domestically. Think Thor will have a better chance overseas than Cap will though.
