![]() The King’s Speech would go on to win Best Picture.. The rest of the polls in major nominations (directing, acting and writing) suggest that folks would like the Oscars to be spread out a bit. I also included Best Foreign and Best Docs as well. Best Foreign in TMB poll was in favor of Mexico -Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Biutiful However, it didn’t win. In a Better World (Denmark) did, (Came in third in the poll) Best Documentary in TMB poll was Exit Through the Gift Shop with50% (41 Votes); the Oscar Winner was ‘Inside Job’. As of this writing, Melissa Leo has already won Best Supporting Actress (and eats up a speech clock) but did the int’l friend agree? There are many supporters of ‘The Fighter’ to be sure- but the poll would have given it to : Best Actress- int’l friends selected by an landslide, Natalie Portman, (Black Swan) 82% (199 Votes) Everyone else got left in dust clouds. Annette Being, my pick, was second in the poll at 7%. (Portman would go on to win) Best Supporting Actor Best Actor Best Screenplay My personal Pick was that 5%- The Kids Are Alright.
