Inappropriate Movies to Watch While Flying

— Posted by Rodney

Today I am leving for Festival de Cannes since I am getting on a flight from Canada to London England, then London to Nice France, I thought I might want to bring some movies to play in my laptop during the flight.

Then while talking to a friend who is terrified of flying, I started thinking maybe I should be totally inappropriate and bring only movies that deal with Airline disasters. And this got me thinking.

Taken

While not an airline film, I did watch this a week before my trip and now with my over reactive imagination, I will just assume that every person near the airport is going to try and con me.

Fortunately I am not a pretty girl who runs awkwardly. But just to be safe, I left my bedazzled demin jacket at home so I don’t become a target.

Airplane, and Airplane 2

Great spoof that deals with a crisis on an airplane. Surely there is hope for these doomed passengers? Of course there is, and stop calling my Shirley.

Snakes on a Plane

The movie is half as long if you remove all the cursing, but this mother fucker is rediculous enough to be a must have for flying.

Die Hard 2

Not my favourite of the Die Hard series, but if you are going to Die Harder, you are going to have to do it on a plane.

Air Force One

I won’t be flying with the President, but still some great suspenseful action on a plane.

Lost

Yeah, this would be appropriate.

Alive

And just incase we do go down, its good to know the etiquette of survival.

Final Destination

It just starts with a vision that dodges a freak plane disaster. This works.

The icing on the cake would be if I get seated next to someone who has a fear of flying. I wonder what the in flight movie will be?

What would you watch on a long flight?

When i took a flight from Atlanta to Fargo. They played the movie Red Eye with rachel McAdams. Now that was a movie not for flying. A lot of people complain during the flight.
