50/50 Trailer Online

— Posted by Rodney

I saw Seth Rogen’s name on the poster and instantly thought this was going to be a comedy. And with former Ali G writer Will Reiser’s name on the script and directed by Jonathan “The Wackness” Levine, why wouldn’t you think that?

While there are hints of levity in the trailer its pretty clear that 50/50 will be a heartfelt drama of dealing with the diagnosis of cancer and how it affects these two friends.

There is a spot at the nightclub scene there that is obviously unfinished. People talking over and dancing to music that isn’t there.

But we get the point.

It’s strange that Seth Rogen is STILL the same pothead slacker he is in everything and yet it can still work in this. I am very much looking forward to seeing this, if only because Joseph Gordon-Levitt has never let me down.

Great trailer! I loved this movie even though I thought it would be boring. I enjoyed the performance that Seth Rogan delivered being hilarious and never serious. I rented this using my Blockbuster @ Home feature which delivers the goods. Getting thousands of movies, games and TV shows is a great way to maximize my TV entertainment. Having no late fees or due dates let’s me enjoy my movies or games more. I can stream my favorite shows to my iPad or TV while I wait for my next Blu-ray. Blockbuster down the block works out fabulous when I need a quick exchange. I use this with the newest flicks so I can see them right away. This is only $10 per month added to my DISH employee service. This is the best way for me to get my entertainment needs.

I was wondering when Rogen was going to try to grow up a little bit. They all do eventually. Should be good.
