Woody Harrelson Joins “Now you see me”

Woody Harrelson gets my attention in anything he works on. Him re-teaming with Jesse Eisenberg, his Zombieland co-star, is a welcome surprise as well and the movie… man, read this for yourself:

The story is about an FBI squad hunting down a “super-team of the world’s greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances and showers the profits on to their audiences.”
Ruffalo will play the FBI agent
Seyfried will play a master technicial who builds contraptions to help the heist’s illustion.
Eisenberg plays the arrogant but brilliant magician, leader of the Four Horsemen.
Freeman will play Thaddeus, a former magician who’s made a career out of exposing other magicians’ illusions, thus the most despised figure within the magic community
Laurent plays a femme fatale on the opposing side of Seyfried’s law.
Fisher will play Henley, “a master technician who builds contraptions to aid in the illusion of the heists”
Fisher plays the role that was initially meant for Amanda Seyfried but Seyfried’s deal was never locked in
Harrelson will play Merritt Osbourne, here’s the character description..
a mentalist and hypnotist known for his Jedi-style mind tricks. He used to perform overseas for the Queen of England, but a bloody incident forces him to flee to Vegas where he joins the Four Horsemen, a squad of the world’s greatest illusionists who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances, then shower the profits on their auds.

The synopsis of the movie has pushed enough right buttons to garner my interest and the idea of these guys teaming up to perform as Robin Hood esque magicians is an intriguing tease into what may result in a very entertaining movie.

Again, Harrelson’s involvement sealed my interest as I’m sure many will agree “when he’s on, he’s on”. He can give a pretty broad range as far as his performances and every time I look for him on screen it’s like finding out what color jellybean I’m gonna receive. They’re all different but they’re all deliciously enjoyable.
