New Rise of the Planet of the Apes trailer

While watching last nights, awesome, Heat vs. Mavericks game I managed to see a BUNCH of TV spots for some of this summers’ biggest movies including Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Shortly thereafter this new clip popped up online that moves at a much faster pace than our previous look but is equally interesting.

That looks pretty exciting. Hell, that looks pretty friggin fun. Ceasar doesn’t talk but the performance of Andy Serkis helps emote his thoughts physically and that nuance of pantomiming his thoughts makes the character that much more appreciably creepy. I’m really liking what I’m seeing from this movie so far and today’s clip just sent my radar into a frenzy. Can’t wait to see this one and I’ll be sure to share more info as soon as it’s available.

This may actually be good. Of course, I won’t hold my breath.

Lookin forward to this! Anything where the chimps aren’t anthropomorphized and talking and wearing clothes like previous films! This looks real and possible. Not to mention creepy!

    • Zach says:

this looks real and possible? yeah because we’re easily outnumbered by apes….yup

I believe he was referring to a cure for degenerative brain diseases turning into something more, and the effects it would have on the “test subjects”

Wow. This was so under the radar- it looks to be like a big surprise.
    Bow your heads!

looking forward to this, they’re gonna go apenana!

I don’t know… I think the gorilla CGI looks, well, off. And there’s a definite cheesiness factor I’m reading from these shots. I’m not so sure I’m buying into this film, I have to wait until it’s actually released before I’m willing to believe it’s going to work.

I love that shot where the S.W.A.T. team shows up and the apes are already armed!

that shot was all “Planet of the apes”

Franco is the only one that seems out of place here.

      here’s to hoping
