Elizabeth Banks Confirms Hunger Games Role

We alredy discussed how Elizabeth Banks was in talks to play Effie Trinket, a flaky fashion consultant who escorts her district’s contestants into the battlefield, and now right from the beautiful mouth of the actress herself - or rather her Twitter the role is confirmed.
I am really ok with this casting. I find Banks to be very visually appealing and can play off strong and smart just as easily as airheaded and flaky.
I figured the role would to go someone with their own style and presence, so I am very cool with this.

I am in love with her. She is like the girl in high school everyone likes.
Also I think the premise of this movie is stupid….but hell they have made worst and it pannned out financially for them -)
The premise is pretty much background in the story here. There is a bigger issue of social standing, tyranny and a massive rebellion that this is building towards.
Its really worth it.
