Viggo Mortensen is NOT the Huntsman

Viggo’s role selection has been a little confusing as of late with the actor negotiating for a key role in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and being ruled out of Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, to learn today that he won’t be Snow White’s Huntsman after all.

Yes, though he’d been formally in talks through the end of January until just recently, the back-and-forth came to nought because the two sides just couldn’t come to terms. In fact, the negotiations became so strained that Mortensen seriously started to entertain other offers, which has led to a spate of rumours about him possibly playing the villain in Zack Snyder’s Superman.

This is a very opportune time to announce the ability to entertain roles as there are a lot of projects fresh for the picking that could cast the actor into their productions. I would obviously prefer that he take into consideration the idea of begging asking Mr. Snyder to re-consider his previous stance on Mr. Mortensen’s involvement in his next film… but then again there was also another name rumored for that film…
