Johnny Knoxville NOT Offered Three Stooges Role

Posted by on 16. 03. 2011in News Chat

A couple days ago it looked like Johnny Knoxville was being offered the role of Moe in the troubled film adaptation of The Three Stooges.

Well as certain as they were that this was happening, an equally as credible source says there is no offer on the table.

MovieWeb shares:

Variety originally ran the story saying that the Farrellys were “looking to set” Johnny Knoxville in the role of Moe, and that they were “waiting for Johnny Knoxville to officially accept.”

However insiders say that while Johnny Knoxville is interested in the project, an offer to join the film has not been made.

This is one of those films that I just won’t hold my breath for. They sign someone, they walk, then someone else walks and they get something else together and it crumbles.

I will believe it when they start rolling cameras.
