First Look at New TMNT

Nickelodeon has released an underwhelming video sneak peak for their new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoon.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting:

For now, they’re still just a mutation in process, but that’s no reason you can’t enjoy the first glimpse of Nickelodeon’s new and improved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The cable network has greenlit 26 half-hour episodes for late 2012, and EW has the exclusive first look at the four heroes in a half-shell: Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo. Nickelodeon promises this version of the franchise will be “funnier and ninja-ier.”

I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But nothing irks me more than under-budgeted, bad CGI cartoons. Heck, even the Clone Wars is hard for me to watch sometimes, and it’s got a large budged. This looks like a cheap version of the great “TMNT” film from a few years ago, and I’m afraid it’s going to just leave me wishing it was more like that movie. On the flip side, I’m also happy to see the brand continue, so, perhaps we’ll just wait and see…

What is this? Looks more like some sort of bad iphone-game. The one responsible for this mess better be ashamed.

Good news is they are close to pinning down a final script over for the new live action reboot so that will be radica!

Finally someones see’s the Clone Wars as crappy looking CGI like I do.

Lucas Arts in general always seems to have sub-par animation.
    games especially

did I just saw Michaelangelo & Donatello’s weapons having “bayonets”?
    that’s different.

anyways, I’m not a big fan of what’s shown here (guess I was spoiled by the Imagi’s TMNT). but then again, I’m glad this franchise is mutating (regardless for better or worse).

That’s strange…..I didn’t know that there was a new game coming out for the PS1! Sure, it’s been nearly a decade since the original Playstation had any new games, but there’s still hope for….*reads title*..Wait, it’s a new TV show? Oh…
