New Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol Set Photos

Posted by Ian Fayon 04. 01. 2011in News Chat

Some new set photos turned up on Collider, showing Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and director Brad Bird looking cold in Vancouver. I’m really hoping Simon gets a bigger part in this installment as he’s absolutely hilarious and one of my own personal heroes (Shaun of the Dead is easily my favourite film, I’ve seen it over 50 times). Poor Brad Bird looks cold! I didn’t realise he was involved in this, his first Live action film. His previous efforts are some of the best animations of the last 20 years (Iron Giant, Ratatouille and The Incredibles!) and with ith Michael Giacchino (Up) doing thie score and Robert Elswit There Will Be Blood) as the director of photography, this film should be just fine. Anyone have any doubts about it?

Tom cruise? Where the Fuck is Jeremy renner?

Oh shit… was I terribly misinformed about this?

No Jeremy Renner is in it, but he just obviously wasn’t in this scene, don’t worry. He’s being groomed to take over the franchise. I’m guessing theyre gunna kill Ethan off.

oh! thats cool…. so theyre going to SHOW the passing of the torch…

i thought they were just going to show the new rookie fill in the shoes cruise left behind and let the audience asume for themselves that this dude took over tom cruise’s role.

i like this WAY better though. awesome.

        thanx Ian

    How can he be cold?
Its not even below 0 the past couple weeks.
Tom Cruise has been quiet in town, apparently he got one floor of the fairmont to himself. But not sure what fairmont he is in.

    btw im a vancouverite.

My doubt about this film is the fact that Tom Cruise is in it. His career still hasn’t recovered enough and I doubt this will be the film that has the domestic audience running to see it. His career may be beyond repair at this point. He’s the male version of Lindsey Lohan only scientology was his drug of choice.
