Meet Cars 2 Raoul ÇaRoule

With publicity for Cars 2 starting to buzz the net, they seemed to only be showing us characters we already know.

Now we finally get to meet one of the new characters from the film. A French Rally Car named Raul ÇaRoule.

Coming Soon says:
Known as the “World’s Greatest Rally Car,” #6 Raoul ÇaRoule was born in Alsace, France. A restless soul, Raoul joined the famous ‘Cirque du Voiture’ French circus where he learned Gymkhana – a graceful, drift-filled motorsport that taught him pinpoint timing and an unparalleled ability to navigate tricky courses with ease. He’s the first car to ever win nine consecutive rallies. Raoul is confident he can use his rally experience to pull ahead of his fellow World Grand Prix racers during the three courses’ touchy dirt sections, especially with his fans in the stands waving banners that read: “ÇaRoule Ca-Rules!”

I like the fun bouncy personality of Raoul. No word on who will voice Raoul just yet.

And yes, we all wish it was Incredibles 2.

I love Pixar, but I went on a little drought, missing Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, and Cars when they all came out. I don’t know why, they just didn’t interest me.

I caught Cars a few months ago, and didn’t like it at all. I really have no interest in the sequel.

Everyone always tells me how great The Incredibles is though, I guess I should check it out.

  2. Anthony says:

I did something similar and initially missed the Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, and Wall-E. I eventually caught all the films but I really never cared for Cars and this sequel is gonna encourage another drought.

  3. Paul says:

The description of Raoul here reminds me of Alsace born french world rally champion Sebastien Loeb. This character is just a nod to a great champion.

  4. Zach says:

Look, I trust Pixar, but Cars is definitely one of he weakest films they have made, and thus warrants a sequel less than the rest. The Incredibles and Monster’s Inc. are both far more deserving of a sequel. Having said said, I do trust Pixar. Their last four films have been outstanding, so I think it’s fair to say that if they’re planning a sequel, they must have something special in mind.
