Titans 2 will be called Wrath of the Titans

— Posted by Rodney

Seems we now have confirmation that Liam Neeson will return for the sequel to Clash of the Titans and that the title will be Wrath of the Titans.

Ramascreen shares:

Liam Neeson told the Belfast Telegraph that he’s coming back as Zeus in the sequel which is titled WRATH OF THE TITANS

“I’ve only read half of the script and there is still some work being done – they’re on script 10 – but I think it’s going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it,”

Now aside from the rough post 3D conversion which will always hang over this film forever, for me the disappointment in the film came after I discovered what the original plot was, and how they danced around existing footage to change plot points.

I still enjoyed the movie as it was, and clearly after the $380million worldwide, the movie did ok by most standards.

But hearing that they are on the tenth version of the script so far makes me a little positive that the sequel will attempt to correct some of the shortcomings of the original.

I would love to see more of the Gods interactions this time. That throne room with the floor looking over the world was incredible.

    This announcement is a Shocker!

I liked Clash of the Titans though I thought it felt short. Like they had to much story to tell and rushed through most of it. But it was entertaining still. I look forward to the sequel.

PS what was the original story? I don’t remember reading about it.

This movie blew chunks and was obvious it was hacked to death.

shame cause I was looking forward to this being very good.

the effects were spotty at best, and some were down right laughable.

    not looking forward

This was just a Meh movie to me, I enjoyed Prince of Persia more than this.

I didn’t really like the movie, it couldn’t hold my attention. I really love myth and lore so here’s hoping they get this one right.

You know I enjoyed this movie as well, it clearly had shortcomings but they didnt keep me from enjoying it.

I like the quote as well, what he said about a “very human story” at least tells me they are trying. Hope it all comes together this time.
