Re-Cut Green Lantern Trailer is Cooler

— Posted by Rodney

A recut version of the Green Lantern Trailer has been circulating the intarwebz and I have to say it makes the film look a LOT better. And I liked the trailer.

Nothing was added to the trailer, just the order of the scenes were trimmed and re-organized. The most important and notable changes are the saucy sarcasm that Reynolds is known for. I, like many felt that the success of this film is going to lie completely on whether Reynolds can park the snark. Which will be difficult because Hal Jordan is supposed to be cocky and bold.

Without the “I know, Right?!?” moment, the transformation scene looked a lot cooler. As did the whole trailer.

Yeah, That “out-dated trash paper” is the reason why studios are all rushing to sign different properties. Seems like they realized that their good stories to be told.Huh?

I don’t give a care about the comic books or the comic book fans, I care about the film makers creating a Green Lantern movie that I can watch and understand without reading a bunch of geeky green lantern comics that are nothing more than outdated trash paper.

You do realize without all that “outdated trash paper” there wouldn’t be a Green Lantern movie, or ANY comic book movies at all?

I don’t know where this random hate of the source material comes from, but its not helping make your point.
