Recently Michael J Fox recreated the teaser for the first Back to the Future as a promo shot for the Spike TV 2010 Scream Awards.

With attention to detail, the teaser was completely reshot with the obvious twist at the end to promote the show which will have Lea Thompson, Elisabeth Shue and Fox reunited for a 25th Anniversary Tribute.

It is really good to see Michael J Fox back at it, but you can still see a little of that uneasy posture. Had he not been afflicted I have no doubt he would still be pushing out these movies. Class act, pure professional and amazing personality.

    Back To The Future is my favourite trilogy. Each ones feeds off the previous, and intertwines with the others.

        Yes, maybe he only watch the first one, with CLAUDIA WELLS, the original Jennifer, or perhaps he thinks that Elisabeth´s first role was a hooker on Leaving las Vegas… it´s a fair question.

        Still, Shue was in it more than the original girlfriend. Even though she spent the better part of the film unconscious.

        Even the overlapping scene at the end of the first and the intro to the second was reshot with Shue.

        lol, that´s right she was paid for being unconscious, but, in the other hand, this is a “25th Anniversary Tribute”, so its for the “original film”, not the sequels, and honestly i think that Claudia Wells should be invited too, im ok with Elisabeth appeareance, but i think that having both could be fair, don´t you think?

        And maybe now i see why Joe is surprised with the invitation for Elisabeth Shue.

    Talk about a mind effer, not only do the BTTF films jump around in time… but the Blockbuster only had them in descending order when we’d visit.

    So I ended up watching BTTF 3 first.. BTTF 2 second… then BTTF 1 last.

    Steven, are you serious? How old are you? You should be punched in the face for that. Okay, not really, that’s too harsh. But go see the movie, you’re missing history. Is that too outlandish too say? I don’t think so.

    Maybe it’s because I’m in my late 20’s, (28). BTTF was a huge part of my child hood. I know I’m not old, but I feel like I am when I read comments like this. This generation gap is scary. Are the movies that I loved as a kid going to end up like the movies that parents or grandparents love, but i think are boring, like Lawrence of Arabia, Gone with the wind, West side story. This is scary.

      I’m 24. I realize it’s a big part of American cinema history, but I really don’t have any desire to see it. But I’m sure I’ll finally catch it someday when it’s on TV and I have nothing else to do.

      I’ve also never seen The Wizard of Oz, same reason.

    I have never seen Back to the Future. I know I should, but I’m just not interested, and I really don’t see myself ever going out of my way to make sure I watch it.

        He is free to avoid any movie that he doesn’t feel he wants to see.

        However I do agree that he is missing out by not watching these movies. They are classic fun adventure films with a lot of charm.

        But that’s his choice.

        What I do find odd however is that he spends the extra effort and time to view the post, watch the videos and write how little it means to him.

        im feel sorry for Steven, he is missing an excellent movie, but that´s his choice, and i love the free will.

        I am very excited that here in MEXICO we voted for the re-release of Back to the Future, and we won the privilege for the few exclusive worldwide screenings, and we´ll be able to watch it in a glorius digital format next month.

        How important is Back to the Future for modern culture? mmmm, let´s try this…

        Can you remember the tune from “Avatar”? (2009)

        We know wich one would win, and that´s because BTTF is memorable in so many levels, and not just merchandising for dummies!!!

        I rest my case.

      Steven, you gotta get on this. Make the TMB proud and watch these films. They are fun, classic and will stand the test of time.

      You should watch the first two if you ever get a chance. They are great, fun movies. Don’t bother with the third one though, especially if you don’t think you are interested in the first one haha because ten min in you’ll be saying “Are they serious?” haha
