Christina Hendricks wants Wonder Woman Role

Christina Hedricks has expressed interest in playing Wonder Woman in the proposed TV series revival after rumours put her in the role.
The Mad Men star admitted that she would “love” to take on the iconic role during an appearance on talk show Rachael Ray.
“I heard that rumor too - I don’t know where it got started but I love it!” she said when asked about reports of her playing the comic book character. “I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I’d love to [do it]. That would be such fun. Let’s put it out there!”
I love me some Christina Hedricks, and while she might look absolutley pornographic in the Wonder Woman garb, I don’t know that I want to see her take on the role.
She is a fantastic actress, and seriously easy on the eyes, but I don’t see her as a match for the Amazon Princess.
Practically every actress in Hollywood wants to play Wonder Woman in film.
I hope that we sooner see some actual news about this movie actually entering development rather than the “Actress X wants the role” and “Write/Directer so and so says the movie isn’t dead!!!” posts we’ve been getting for so many years.
Wonder Woman would be no better than any other “Woman-in-the-Lead Action Movie” like Salt or Resident Evil. Hopefully the project stays dead.
She kind of did a kick ass role in the series Firefly, so I could see it happening. But if she does do this she would have to get in tremendous shape. Yeah Wonder Woman is big, but a strong big. I think she could do well in this role.

If she played the shark in Jaws I’d go see it. Definitely one of the hottest women I’ve ever seen. Period.
She’d be great - much rather see an actress in the role then a Megan Fox.

I would rather see a Wonder Woman movie than a t.v. show. The t.v. show has been done already let’s do something different with the character. D.C. needs to get their big three on screen. Wonder Woman is the lone hold out.
