Zombieland 2 Could be a Prequel

I loved the crap out of Zombieland. It was a great character story with some great action, lots of laughs and a pile of fun. So why not make another? Well the story was pretty much complete, but if they can copy the charm of the first film, it could work.

Movies Online quotes Reuben Fleischer:

“One of the fun things about ‘Zombieland’ is it jumps all over the place in terms of the storyline,” Fleischer said. “It’ll go to before zombies to after zombies and all around those worlds.

What’s fun about the sequel is we have freedom and flexibility to show different periods. We might have scenes before the zombies, or we might have some months after, or potentially stuff further down the road. Through the voice-over and the way the movie is structured, we can really explore all different sides of it.”

One of the most interesting things about Zombieland is that you just accept the Zombie Apocalypse happened and you don’t need to know why. It really doesn’t matter.

To explore why and how the world got to Zombieland is irrelevant. I have no interest in that unless they focus more on character interaction like and personality like the first one.

If it means more Bill Murray, I’m all for it.

If they put garfield in it he would do it.

I don’t really see the point of a sequel. What I loved the most about the movie is that it always knew where it stood, and it never went to far or tried to be something it was not. A sequel would only ruin it, and I am sure the cow that they are trying to milk it for the sequel is a zombie too, so with that I think this is pointless. Lol. Who am I kidding, I love ZLAND.

They did explain how it happened it came from mad cow disease. But I liked they did not show it.
