The Social Network: Mark Zuckerberg’s Version

Posted by Rodneyon 29. 09. 2010in News Chat

There are two sides to every story, and while the upcoming film Social Network is making the creator of everyone’s favourite social networking tool look bad, another movie is coming out that shows what REALLY happened with facebook.

Ok, its a gag trailer, so not REALLY. But still fun.

I do wonder if we will ever get the truth. Obviously some embellishment had to take place to make the film that much more dramatic. Watching a movie about a nerd coding for 6 years of his life is hardly gripping.

Throw in some T&A, some conflict and well acted drama… Bam! Instant Oscar!

The script is mostly based on the book “The Accidental Billionaires” by Ben Mezrich. I know for a fact that there were some initial talk from Facebook to keep their name out of the picture, but hey it’s a film, which equals free publicity. Honestly I think most of this (how much of it is real) comes from Mark Zuckerberg personally. But yeah, it sounds like a good film. And hey, it’s way too early to mention Oscars, we all know what happened to “Up In The Air”.

Actually, there’s three sides to every story: yours, mine…and the truth.

    I’m just sayin’…
