Harry Potter Deathly Hallows on set Photograph.

The Harry Potter films are coming to an end, and for the die-hard fans out there who have read all the novels. This news won’t come as much of a surprise. SPOLIER-ALERT. In the epilogue of the Deathly Hallows novel Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ginny (Bonnie Wright) are grown adults sending their little Harry Potter Jr. off to Hogwarts. Well MTV seems to have gotten a hold of a picture from that very scene being filmed.

MTV Movies Blog

MTV learned only this month that the main cast will put on some “old” makeup and play elder versions of their characters in that final scene, which hadn’t been shot at the time. The shoot is apparently happening now, as some images have leaked out from the set showing us what Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ginny (Bonnie Wright) look like as old people.

In a world full of Daniel Radcliffe doppelgangers I’m not so sure the make-up is very necessary. Heck, I’m sure if you popped some thick frame glasses on Mathew Broderick he’d make a great middle aged Harry.

It’s hard to say exactly if this is going to pan over well from this photo alone. In my opinion Daniel Radcliffe’s make-up seems to be done well from this angle, probably would help if he put his chin up and smiled at the spy camera haha. Bonnie Wright though doesn’t seem to have aged past 20, even though we should all keep in mind nothings set in stone until it’s on the silver screen. What I mean by that is she may look young in this shot but in post-production they could easily change that with some movie magic.

Can’t have the last book without that last scene. Looks great.

Ugh, I like to pretend that the epilogue never happened. I wish they’d just leave it out of the movie. It doesn’t have to be there. Heaven forbid readers get to actually imagine what would happen to the characters after everything they went through… instead we get a brief scene telling all the answers in the least interesting way possible… just telling people all the answers. If she really wanted to continue the story, she should have done it in future books.

    Umm, just a friendly advice.

I’ve read the book so I knew about this, wasn’t a big shocker etc. etc… But there are those who haven’t and your “spoiler warning” wasn’t really a warning at all. I mean you have the pictures on your front page. Come on.

Now I’m aware that for those who are interested about the upcoming movie, this mysterious spoiler is nothing new and it’s probably covered on a dozen other sites, but just for the sake of it, you could do something about it.

Sure it’s been covered on a ton of others sites. But there are people who visit this site anyway. This site has been around for seven years, they know what they’re doing.

Gotta agree with jaffahut - I don’t mind this spoiler, as 1/2 the world already knows about it, but please be more careful with other spoilers! :)
