First Look at Chris Evans as Captain America - Not Really

Some fan put together an image of what we might see of Chris Evans as Captain America, taking a classic image of the Cap and fed in about 6% of Evans to the head.
The image is mostly by the book and Evans looks good in it. I have no doubt he would be physically play the part, the worry is if he will play it.
I am having faith that he will.

That picture of Captain America has Chris Evan’s face planted in. Personally I think he looks a little smug in the picture, but that’s more opinion than anything. I’d be willing to see what Chris Evans is capable of putting into the role, so long as Cap doesn’t turn out to be a smartass character like Chris has played in most of his movies.

It’s probally easier to play it straight for him.
Comedy IS harder than drama IMO.
Dont really like these type of non-photos they tarnish the finished product.(not that there is one yet)

I’d rather have Channing Tatum play Captain America than Chris Evans. Evans in this poster still looks like Johnny Storm (aka The Human Torch) to me. Let’s see how he does in this Cap movie.
Evans has proven he can act.

I agree. At first I wasn’t too thrilled about Evans playing the part. However, after thinking it over Evans would play a much better Captain America than Tatum. He knows that this movie could really launch his career so he needs to take it seriously and give his best effort. Evans was smart to take the role too. The Human Torch character got him no where because the Fantastic Four franchise sucked. Those two films completely lacked any effort.

It’s good, not great. Too dark, lower part of the body is slightly contorted and YES the upper half is Evans from the Fantastic Four : Rise Of The Silver Surfer poster. You can slightly make out the 4 no less.
*note. the thought occurred to me the other day: Here’s Evans as Cap, and the plan is to have The Invaders show up in the film, right? I PROMISE I won’t laugh if the *android* Human Torch is present…
