Hitler Has No Hope For Avatar

— Posted by John Campea

Ok we’ve all seen a million of these Hitler clips complaining about one thing or another, but once in a while a new one comes out that makes you laugh your ass off. This is one of those.

Movie Blog reader “Julius” sent me this. I don’t know how long it’s been floating around, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it and I just had to share it with you guys. Check it out:

I’ve never heard of these things before. And I’m glad I haven’t.

It is amazing to me that the wonderfully tech-savvy youth of today only use Hitler as a source of ridicule, instead of learning anything from history.

Charlie Chaplin in “The Little Dictator” excepted, there’s nothing funny about Hitler. Especially not in a world where genocide is still going on, and where media propaganda projects and government works projects that would make Hitler’s crew proud are in full force.

I wonder if fifty years from now if there will be anyone smart enough left, who will look back at stuff like this and think, “Huh. So in the late ’00s there was a genocide in Darfur going on…and ‘national socialism’ (the namesake of ‘NaZi’) was gaining ground in many first-world countries… and yet what were the little Twitterers doing? Laughing at bonehead clips of Hitler, a guy whose actions should have informed them about the darkness they were descending into. Oh well. I hope those dopes got a good chuckle and liked the spiffy production of their little cartoons!”

Maybe things aren’t that bad. Maybe we’ll all be okay. But in this day and age, with cameras everywhere and free speech on the internet under assault, I don’t think anyone could laugh at Hitler under any circumstances-if they actually understand and take to heart much of ANYTHING about Totalitarianism. Hope the cheap yuck-yucks are worth it. :-(

Mhm … unfortunately it is not funny when you are german. Not because of that “its our sad sad history”-thing, but understanding the german words just kills the effect of the “translated” subtitles …

First of all, thx for posting John..! This clip is priceless!

Der Untergang is a fantastic film! Probably the best narrative film dramatizing hitler as a person not a monster - not saying a monster personalized cause he definately was, but he was a human too… thats the terror of it!

This is just a great joke, with this scene and the size of avatar to epic proportions.. this also brings up the debate about the trailer not saying the movie or trailer is bad, just pointing out some of the fanboy reactions online… this is for debate and discussion.. nothing to do about hitler or saying the avatar film will suck…!

But for those of you who haven’t seen the film… get the fuck out and get it!!

I’ve seen it before. I love these “Hitler finds Out” videos. They are hilarious. so is this one.

“Who the hell thinks of Sam Worthington as a leading man!?”

    and

“Don’t worry. Cameron will never make that Spider-Man treatment.”

    funniest lines hands down

That was funny, but it did carry on a bit too long.

I saw this about a week ago. In my opinion these Hitler videos have gotten really old, just like rick rolls

Got old rather fast. The poor framing of the subs and the misspelling of Weaver’s name took me out of it too.
