District 9 Star Is Murdock In A-Team

Well that didn’t take long.

We’ve already known that Liam Neeson will play Hannibal, Bradley Cooper will play Faceman and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will play Mr. T’s old role of BA Baracus… which all left us with only one role left to fill in the A-Team. The half crazy pilot Murdock. The search is apparently over.

It is being reported by our friend Wilson over at Black Film that Murdock will be played by “District 9″ break out star Sharlto Copley. It should be noted that no official announcement has yet been made.

Personally, I LOVE this news. No, Copley was not a name I had thought of at all, but the man can clearly act and talent is the most important thing… he’s got the right look too. I only wonder if he can hide that heavy accent?

So if this becomes “official” (I have no reason to think it won’t) what do you think of this? Do you like the cast they have?

Dude this show was fucking goofy. It was ridiculous.

This movie has no shot. I mean- Really? The fucking A-Team??

  But of course, theres no question about its popularity. Its the A-Team, it was a HUGE show.
  
  I just…dont see it happening as a movie in 2010. Will it be a comedy?
  If its a comdey then I am 100% on board.
  
  If its a serious Die Hard type movie, then I’ll just not care for it at all.
  
  Ans ill say this right now, that i didnt say before because i didnt wanna get crucified, but ill say it now because I want to express how much of a no-no the idea of making this move is:
  
  The casting is awful. Horrid! I mean- really? The only person here that fits the role is D9 guy, but he speaks Scotish and ive never seen him in a role close to this, unless murdock also turns into an Alien in this movie, but that would bring more problems to this movie

  Liam is a fucking FANTASTIC actor, hes gold- but hes does not look like hannibal at all…I thought theyd pick Bruce Willis or something..someone that has that same…VIBE. And Liam neeson doesnt, he always looks as if his whole family got killed an he now has to do the thing he hates the most, kill people
  
  Oh and i can wait to see Rampage with that mohawk and the chain

Gotta say I’m really digging this cast with the exception of Rampage, but even he has the right look for the part. Hope the fucker can pull his weight in the acting department.

I think this is pretty good. District 9 proved that this guy can play half crazy and do it pretty well.
That is great.
