Black Eyed Peas Flash Mob Dance on Oprah’s Kickoff Party

Earlier this month Oprah had a Kickoff party for the 24th season of her empire.. I mean Talk Show. This was all launched by a unique performance by the Black Eyed Peas.
What does this have to do with movies? Well Oprah has movie stars on her show all the time right? Ok, this post has NOTHING to do with movies. Its just plain cool and felt moved enough to share it with the International Friends. Indulge me, or skip to the next article!
Black Eyed Peas altered the lyrics slightly for their hit single “I Gotta Feeling” to tribute Oprah in a big performance on the streets of Chicago. What Oprah didn’t know was that the 21,000 fans were not just there to watch the kickoff, but they put on a show for Oprah.
That lone dancer right in the front looked really out of place at first but you quickly catch on. I am in AWE that they pulled this off on such a grand scale. Absolutely amazing.
The best part is Oprah’s genuine surprise.

This is absolutely unbelievable! I would love to know how they organized it.
I watch Oprah, so I can tell you how. They put out a call on Twitter for any experienced dancers to come to Chicago. They taught the dance to a few hundred of them, and them before this show started, they were dispersed into th ecrowd to quickly teach it to everyone else. AMAZING that everyone did it in such perfect unison.
I heard about that. The video was pretty stunning. An yeah…choreography? Damn.

It was an amazing effort thar really paid off. Just the size of the crowd and the way it it was organized is amazing.
Well Oprah was in the color purple (and some other movie with Danny Glover) which makes her an actress, which means this article does have something to do with movies! (don’t you just love loopholes!)

I TOO WATCHED THIS EPISOD OF OPRAH AND FOUND IT TRULY AMAZING. WHAT A FEELING THAT MUST HAVE BEEN FOR EVERYONE. THAT REALLY IS A FEEL GOOD VIDEO. WHEN I GO TO WORK, I PLAY IT EVERY TIME TO GET MYSELF READY FOR THE DAY. THAT ONE SOLO GIRL WAS AWSOME. THE WHOLE THING WAS AWSOME. THANKS FOR THE PERSON WHO THOUGHT OF THIS.
