New Alice in Wonderland Trailer Online

Posted by Rodneyon 24. 07. 2009in News Chat

A wonderfully whimsical and equally creepy Alice in Wonderland trailer surfaced on the Tubes of You thanks to some ComicCon fans who like to run with scissors but they were immediately cut down.

Fortunately for us, Trailer Addict has the official release for us so we don’t have to wonder any more.

I think it looks absolutely amazing and some of the characters are just enough to give you chills. The giant head on the Queen of Hearts played by the hauntingly beautiful Helena Bonham Carter looks so real and unreal at the same time. That’s going to give me nightmares.

Pleasant surprise was to find that among all these crazy loopy acid trip characters, the white rabbit looks most like a real rabbit.

  2. Robin says:

Oh wow, that was amazing. I don’t think any of the pictures released before hand could have prepared me for that.

  3. krazie835 says:

Johnny Depp looks so cute. :D

  4. Herby says:

    TOP OF MY LIST

  5. leeloo says:

    8D !!!!!!!!!

  6. Jeremy says:

    It looks great! Can’t wait!

  7. DAve says:

Of course i will no doubt see it cause i’m a huge fan of everything Alice i think i might have every version of ALice in wonderland, thru the looking glass, made thru the years and apart from Depp kind of actting like Sparo and i am afriad the CGI will be overdone ( hopfully not) i will wait with excitment

    • Rodney says:

Depp didnt seem at all like Sparrow to me.

Depp is always unique in his odd characters and this wasn’t anything like his previous roles.

    • Meg says:

If anything he was acting more like Willy Wonka, even though I’m not sure you could say that for sure since it was only a short glimpse of him.

I agree though I think he brings something different to each of his characters.

  8. Kaneda979 says:

Wow, that was amazing, it looks even more true to the book then I thought it would be.

Depp has that Mad Hatter laugh down perfect. Can’t wait and I am totally seeing it in 3D. WOOT!

  9. MandarinOrange says:

This was put on here 2 days ago by John.

    • AARON says:

That was a youtube link i think. This is Trailer Addict……..

    • MandarinOrange says:

So, it is the same trailer.

The one thing I found very interesting is the tone of the comments. This one the comments seem very optimistic were as the other one were more pessimistic. I am continued to be amazed at how much the tone of the article effects the tone of the comments. I could probably release that G.I. Joe clip, say it looks completely awesome and brings hope back to the movie and people would be agreeing.

    • Meg says:

I was thinking the same thing.. everyone was saying how much Tim Burton sucked, which I comepletely disagree with.

The clip from the previous post was taken down before I could see it so I searched for it, maybe everybody else saw a different clip the first time?

Oh and this looks amazing. Can’t wait.

    • MandarinOrange says:

If it was that would make since, but it wasn’t. It was the exact same clip.

    • Rodney says:

The one a few days ago was on Youtube and was ganked. It was likely the same, this just wont be taken down by Youtube.

    • thematticus says:

You know why I like you Rodney? Because you say things like ‘ganked.’

    • MandarinOrange says:

I didn’t realize when I first posted that the other one was taken down. But that isn’t the point of my comment. my point is the tone of the comments between the two are so different you would have thought it was a completely different movie.

I wonder how the caterpiller will look.

  11. Ross says:

Tim Burton and Johnny Depp is all i need to know….I’m there.

  12. Kristina says:

    OMG the Cheshire Cat…

This thing is gonna give kids nightmares.

  13. Dryer says:

I dont quite understand the continous amazement with Burton’s latter works. Each film has been a re-tread of his first three “original” films, PEEWEE, BEETLE & EDWARD; all which were culminated into his masterpiece ED WOOD. Burton’s name has become nothing more than a property or trademark; which is sad considering the talent behind the lense. His films arent dark as we percieve them to be just as Howard Stern isnt as shocking on the radio in his heyday.

  14. vargas says:

I’m excited to see this! Looks great!

  15. tiff k says:

crap, i can’t wait to see this! First film that I’d really want to see in 3D!

  16. Dave A says:

Am I really the only one who thinks this looks exactly like all the other uninspired garbage we’ve been force fed the last 15 years from “the talented” Mr. Burton?

  17. Tiglet says:

to much lame CGI, with lame I mean badly done.

  18. Soggie G. says:

I cant wait for this movie.

But I’m sorta getting tired of every Movie that Tim Burton directs being focused around Johnny Depp.

  19. Louisgamers says:

lol depps eyes are freaking huge in this trailer

  20. RT Flixchatter says:

I gotta admit I’m not a huge Alice nor Burton fan, but the trailer got me intrigued. Depp is hiding his chiseled good looks behind a mask again, but he’s got the Mad Hatter’s laugh & accent down pat. I just may check this one out.

  21. Dragonslayer says:

This movie looks so cool. Can’t wait. Tim Burton rules!

  22. JS84 says:

i know you re all gonna hate on me but i cant help to think depp looks like madonna with all that make up i know he s great and everything but he kinda looks like her lol!!!!!!!!
