Say Vassup to the Bruno Red Band Trailer
Red Band screams boobies and violence, and we are talking about Sasha Baron Cohen here, so bring on the controversial content!!
Bruno will be pushing social limits for shock value and this trailer shows that. Only a couple shots in here show him trying to “gay out” people. Mostly its just “did he just do that” kind of crap that will make people talk.
Yup… pixelized fake boobies, a singular f-bomb and dildoes. Maybe I am desensitized, but they could have cut out the f-bomb and shown only the shot of the girl with her hair covering her purchased mammories, and it would lose its Redband status.
But Red Band gives it a certain credibility for shock and awe, which is the whole selling point of Bruno.

LOL, wow, awesome, just awesome…
not my brand of humour at all.
Saw that this morning. It looks great.
It looks so funny, so offensive, and just ok but nothing flat out hilraous, though it did have me laughing.
Even though it was offensive “What’s the babies’ name?” “I gave him a tradiontal African name, his name is O.J.” hahahahahah, sorry
“You may find this hard to believe but I’m gay” lol the guy was all freaked out.
“We are so much like the Sex and The City girls” LOL. Looks pretty good
It looks hilarious. Can’t wait!
“That’s such a Samantha thing to say” LOL
And that velcro suit is so funny.
Excuse my ignorance…red band trailers dont show in PG-13 movies…so
do they get shown before rated R movies in theaters, or just online?
Ive always wanted to ask that but didnt wanna look like a dumbass. lol.
Oh and btw…MAY IS PACKED! I am so excited about may! April is such a DEAD month! But really..Mays great…its even got UP! in it…although that comes out like..the 29th
Maybe Aprils got no movies because of spring break…
Red band trailers show before R-rated movies sometimes, but they’re mostly an online thing now. I can’t remember the last red band trailer I actually saw in a theater.
This looks hilarious, BTW.
Red band trailers I’ve seen played in low key showings of films. Last red band trailer I saw in a theater was no country for old men, I just can’t remember what movie I saw it with.
Did they ever show red band trailers in theaters?
This looks funny, and I’m pretty sure I’ll end up laughing my ass off at it.
But at the same time, I will no doubt get sick of hearing people saying how intellectual it is, and how there’s a deep social commentary behind it.
It’ll be like Borat. Hilariously funny the first time, but only mildly funny for each subsequent viewing.
I don’t know, I still laugh my ass off every time I watch Borat with my friends, but maybe that just me. :)
I know I’m the only one to say this,…but who cares?
Eh, it looks okay. I prefer Bruno’s haircut that he had Da Ali G show.
