Corey Feldman Clarifies Lost Boys 3 Rumours
Recently we talked about Lost Boys 3 getting a writer and confirming the return of the Frog Brothers, and talk then said that Corey Haim would not be included at all. Well Corey Feldman himself caught wind of all these rumours and wanted to clear the air himself.
MovieWeb quotes Feldman from his own site:
LOST BOYS 3? Is it real? There have been a myriad of reports over the last 24 hrs suddenly surrounding the supposed production of LB3. Some of them are true some of them aren’t. As this is all in a very early stage, for now all I can tell you is this…YES I have made a deal with Warner Brothers /Warner Premier to executive produce and act in Lost Boys 3, and yes they have made a deal with a writer to write a script for such a movie. BUT those are the only details that I can confirm at this time. There has been much speculation as to what characters will be involved and what the story line might be, and all I can say is I haven’t even seen a script yet. So I most definitely cannot confirm or deny any facts as they don’t exist yet to the best of my knowledge. Again this is in the very early stages and I am not even sure how this got leaked to the press. If and when there are some actual details I will be sure to let you know.
So pretty much everything we heard was all speculating, but now we are confirmed that Feldman will be a Frog, and that is about it.
The end of the last movie set this up perfectly, so I hope they run with it. This entirely new brood of Vampires didn’t exactly re-invigorate the franchise, but for the few who are looking out for this, they will want to see what comes of that stinger clip at the end of Lost Boys 2: The Tribe where original Lost Boys character Sam Emerson (Corey Haim) appeared to have been turned to a vampire.
There is a limited enough demographic for this, so why not give what fans you have left what they want to see. Corey vs Corey.
The problem is, Corey Haim acted like a total jerk, from what I hear on the set. I doubt they’ll give him a second/third chance on the set of this third movie. But if he can pull it together, and actually get his shit right when he needs to…eh maybe it’ll work out. Otherwise, don’t expect Haim.
I’m kinda curious how much time Haim was even on the set. He was in the movie all of what a minute? Sure some of him might of ended up on the cutting table, but still how much trouble could he have caused? Granted, there was a lot of gossip off the set about Haim and Feldman’s falling out, so who knows. I agree though, I would like to see a Cory vs. Cory Lost Boys movie.

They should get Kiefer Sutherland back on too, that would be cool.
I think this is still one of the great movies made good action and good plot.
