The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 Trailer Online
The Trailer for The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 has hit the net. With all the buzz around the summer blockbusters, this movie seems to have been lost in the mix. I still want to see it, and for those of you who are not sure what it is, Coming Soon has the description:
In the film, opening in theaters on June 12th, the Washington stars as New York City subway dispatcher Walter Garber, whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos by an audacious crime: the hijacking of a subway train. Travolta stars as Ryder, the criminal mastermind who, as leader of a highly-armed gang of four, threatens to execute the train’s passengers unless a large ransom is paid within one hour.
Looks pretty cool to me.
dont mean to sound like a douche, but trovolta has been in some shitty movies lately and this doesnt seem to be any better.

Judging from this and Swordfish, Travolta can play a pretty decent villain. We’ll have to see!

No offense to Travolta fans, but Travolta is the worst villain ever. Sorry, he just doesnt cut it as a villain.

And will somebody please tell Hollywood that Denzel is not the only black actor in the world? SOOOOOOO FUCKING SICK OF HIM. Oh gee, he’s not a hostage negotiator in this one like usual, he’s a “civil servant” acting AS A HOSTAGE NEGOTIATOR.

This is the first time I heard/read that someone is sick of Denzel W. I think he is one of the best actors in USA and I’ll never get sick of his movies.
I agree that John Travolta is not great as villain.
like who…name a few that u would like?….. dont just comment about denzel not bieng the only one then not name any…maybe they were busy in another role…btw denzel is one of the worlds most credible actors.

Hairspray was really good. Maybe not your cup of tea, but Travolta was great in it. I kept having to remind myself it was him.
Both Washington and Travolta suck. They are always the same people. I haven’t seen either of them actually act in years. They’re just the same characters in every movie they are in only with different names.
And John Travolta is not and never was scary as a villain. The only thing thats scary is that he still gets work.
well, son, you obviously need alot of education about acting and movies, if you think that Denzel Washington sucks, then you clearly have something wrong with your head..
sorry to say that mate, but Denzel is the best ever, he has not made a single bad movie ever, all his movies are great and well structured..

Don’t like Tony Scott movies, don’t like Washington and don’t like Travolta. There’s not much that this film has to make me want to watch it.
Those who haven’t seen the original need to check it out as it it a stellar heist film and Walter Matthau is genius in it.
Im only going to see this because James Gandolfini is in it. Hopefully we can hear him talking over his breathing.

The original was great. Saw it years ago on ifc during some 70s themed movie weekend. Can’t wait to see this one. Tony Scott does good action….except domino, wasn’t into that at all.
Don’t know why, but Travolta reminds me of that biker guy from GTA IV.
